McKenzie Method
Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT) is an internationally recognized method for examining and treating spinal and peripheral joint pain, invented by New Zealand physiotherapist Robin McKenzie.
The McKenzie Method is a comprehensive treatment approach with reliable principles and guidelines. Examination and therapy are based on the patient’s subjective feelings with objective assessment by the therapist. This includes targeted questions and repeated movements. After the examination, you will receive a movement or position from the therapist to perform at home.
This differs from other methods and approaches, as a series of complex exercises will not be necessary.
